Want to learn the basics of straw bale construction? Our weekend workshops are ideal for beginners and potential owner-builders. Participants will learn basic straw bale building techniques in a hands-on and fun way. We will be constructing a small building with course emphasis on stacking bales, framing doors and windows, mounting cabinets, and lime/clay plaster. The course will also overview other natural building methods such as cob, adobe, earthbag, etc.
